The spheres of modern chemistry

The science that studies substance is called chemistry. The alchemists are known as the first chemists. They attempted to find the elixir of life and tried to transform iron ore into gold. Today chemistry just scrutinizes the components of different matters, their molecular levels and the processes that happen while different matters are being combined. The other purpose of that newest science is to find the laws that may describe the relations and phenomena in chemical reactions. That can help to create the required matters synthetically. To perform the chemical researches, it is necessary to be good in physics and biology.

Inorganic chemistry, organic chemistry analytical chemistry, physical and biological chemistry are the chapters of general definition “Chemistry”.

As the scientists had the beliefs that the organic elements have the connections to the life processes the organic chemistry was named this way. But today's science has proved that not all the objects of organic chemistry are connected to the life and living objects. On the contrary, some inorganic components are essential for some life organisms, for example, cooper and iron.

Organic chemistry promotes the researches of matters which are made of carbon and hydrogen. Thanks to it year by year the humankind get known more and more about it and this knowledge is very helpful. There are a lot of frequently utilized products which couldn't be invented without the researches of organic chemistry.

Analytical chemistry studies composition of organic and inorganic matters. It looks at geometric features of molecules, composition and other characteristics. It researches the components given, their composition and features. Analytical and physical chemistry are quite similar, due to they research the same reactions but gain some different data from them. It is based on the researches and the results are very useful for providing the defense of the environmental and saving some natural resources.
